CAMPS

Adventure: Drop-Off Day Camp (3 days) with Mama & Me Adventure Club. Three hours of fun and outdoor play for kids 4-7 years old between 9:30 am - 12:30 pm. July 23,24 & 25.2024.

Planned daily program:

- Check-in, ice-breaker games

- Treasure Hunting story of the day to set the scene and learn fun facts about treasure hunters.

- Hunting for clues that will lead us to our treasure on trails at the park and the neighboring Community Meadow.

- Fun task with our treasure: bring it back to basecamp=obstacle course / clean it / put it together.

- Snack Time

- Art project of the day (make our own treasure map, jewelry, etc.)

- Treasure Hunter sing & move-along song of the day

- Free play at the playground/trails/parachute time.

- Check out

What to bring: Weather-appropriate clothing, sunscreen, water, snacks for lunchtime. A change of clothing in case we get wet during our adventures (no natural water around, but we might use squirt guns or bins full of water to wash treasure in].

F.A.Q.:

- Bathrooms and potable water are available at the park.

- The total number of kids participating is 10. Min age is 4, max age is 7.

- Minimum number of participants: 5 - I will have to cancel unless I have at least 5 participants.

- I will have a very competent and trustworthy teenager help with potty logistics and safety.

- We are going to remain within Ravensdale Park and Ravensdale Community Meadow during our camp.

- I hold an Adult and Child First Aid/CPR/AED certification.

- Consenting to our Liability Release is required to attend.

About the camp leader: 

Andrea Ramsey is the owner and adventure coordinator of Mama & Me Adventure Club LLC, a community of local Mamas adventuring with their little ones multiple times a week for the last 2 years.

She is an event and tour organizer/tourism professional by trade, turned stay-at-home mama of two. Her passion is to get kids outside and on fun adventures and help their creativity and imagination blossom with creative prompts and ideas. She likes to learn about Nature and share her wisdom & fun facts with kiddos.

Other than leading countless events for kids, she worked at other local day camps and as a kid ski instructor for years. Please feel free to reach out to her with any questions.
